yes, when you look at the history books, euroamericans are placed at the forefront as leaders in #anarchism #syndicalism and #anticapitalism, but make no mistake:

I've become a member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).

I've considered doing this for a while now, and have been actively working to educate myself on Socialism to make sure it's the right path forward. I believe that it is.

This is also one of the things I plan to do this year as a reponse to Trump and the fascist threat to the American nation. I've made financial contributions to a couple anti-fascist groups outside of the U.S., and will also make contributions to similar groups stateside.

I've also stopped using Amazon, and have replaced it with a combination of Chewy and eBay, understanding that these purchases still benefit corporate interests.

I also intend to become a Wikipedia editor, as I feel that will in a small way help to support freedom of speech and also counteract the spread of disinformation.

I'm sure there will be other actions I can take this year along these lines as well. I regard what I've done as just a start.

Today in Manchester, England. An apparently spontaneous gathering of hundreds of antifascists are blocking UKIP and Parents Against Grooming from entering Piccadilly Gardens. The police have so far appeared clueless as to what to do about this unexpected show of public resistance.

My only regret leaving #meta properties in 2017 after Zuck glazed Trump the first time is that there is no archive of just how correct I was about so many things. Including #Democrats not being up to the task in this timeline. I'm not a lib, neolib or lefty really, I have always been a #green #antifascist and #AntiConservative who could read very clearly how Dems are neo-liberal-fraud-fucks. And they found out again. During my appointment with my new family doctor on Friday, he complimented me on my purple checkered jeans & my green tribal printed boots & then asked me about all the stickers plastered on my walking cane. I told him they're assorted anti-war, anti-fascist & Palestine support stickers because I'm a war child survivor & a longtime human rights activist. I also said no one really ever wins in wars except for inhumane war profiteers. Innocent people are mass murdered for profits & power for a tiny handful of greedy monsters & it is disgusting.
He said, I agree. I can understand & support that. He proceeds to tell me that when he lived in UK, he had enlisted in military for a brief period. He quit after learning more about the military & decided to go into medical field instead, so he can help more people & not be a major part of traumatizing them.
